Production Team Member - Winston-Salem ManufacturingThe opportunity:The Production Team Member is an entry level position to learn the processes of manufacturing and the different machines used in the process.Shift: 2nd shift (3pm to 11pm) or 3rd shift (11pm to 7am)Pay $16.94 per hour plus 0.50 cent shift diffHow You Will Impact Smurfit WestRock:Pushing Stock.Stacking off from the machines.Off load corrugated from the machines.Assist operators and apprentices as needed.Responsible for the overall Safety and cleanliness of equipment and area.Work in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with company policies and procedures.Overtime is required.Perform other duties as assigned.What You Need to Succeed:Ability to work in a fast-paced environmentExcellent Attendance Record and solid work history with good tenureExcellent safety recordA great work ethic!Available to train on 1st shiftStrong focus on QualityMaintain housekeeping excellence - maintain a clean and organized workspaceMust be able to lift, push, walk, stand, and bend throughout a shiftHigh School Diploma or equivalent requiredWhat We Offer:Corporate culture based on integrity, respect, accountability and excellenceComprehensive training with numerous learning and development opportunitiesA career with a global packaging company where Sustainability, Safety and Inclusion are business drivers and foundational elements of the daily work.Candidates are required to undergo a drug screening after receiving a conditional job offer, but before starting employment.
