Consider our position for a Production Technician. This technician will support our second shift assembly team. Work hours are 3-11pm.ResponsibilitiesAssist in troubleshooting assembly problems (quality, tooling and process-related) and resolve in a timely manner in order to meet customer requested ship datesCoordinate with line leaders regarding organization and control of tools and suppliesInspects assembly tools for wear & damageSets up and controls gauges and gauging techniquesReduce production variances by reviewing closed orders by coordinating with Manufacturing and Engineering departmentsRequisitions supplies (epoxies, solder, bags, drill bits, etc.)Minor set-up and maintenance of equipment (baggers, epoxy dispenser, solder units, form over, leak-detector)Update and maintain training records to latest revisions to maintain compliance with ISO 9001Assist in the training of operators on new or revised processes, products or proceduresCoordinate assembly related rework-MRB activity (breakdown/rebuild)Assist in developing processes and tooling/fixtures for new productCreate and update Efficiency, MDR and Quality ChartsMaintains thorough knowledge of all processes and equipmentPerforms difficult assembly operations as necessaryAssists production manager as neededRequirementsKnowledge in IPC and J-Standards soldering criteria preferredProduction experience or technical school, engineering studies, or combination thereofCommunication using excellent written and verbal skillsInterpret complex electrical and mechanical schematicsKnowledge in use of micrometers and calipers, and calibration of eachExperience in Office software tools: MS Excel, MS Word, MS Power PointReview and revise test procedures in order to streamline productionWork independently and in team environment; collaborate with engineering on a daily basis to provide feedback of testing, troubleshooting, or discrepanciesUnderstanding of ISO 9001, FOD standardsAbility to read blueprintsAbility to develop production test processesAbility to design basic tooling fixturesWhat We OfferA meritocracy where a high level of achievement and contribution is rewarded - we promote from withinFinancial security through competitive compensation, incentives and retirement plansOn the job training and continuous career development opportunities401k with a company match plus an additional employer paid contributionHealthcare including medical, dental and vision, life and disabilityVeteran friendly15 days Paid Time Off and 12 paid holidaysTuition reimbursement opportunities and education loan repayment assistanceThe stability of a company with a record of strong financial performanceComplete benefit package includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance, tuition repayment assistance, EAP, a 401k company matched contribution and a 401k non-elective company contribution.“An Equal Opportunity Employer” Minority/Female/Disabled/Vet/Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity or National Origin.
