Production Technician AssociateJob Title: Production Technician Associate Start Details: Training/Orientation Schedule: 8:45AM – 5PM Shift: M-F Original schedule: 7:30am – 4:30pm M-F 3:00pm-12am M-F As the Production Technician Associate you will assemble trailer components and sub-assemblies as well as perform quality inspections of components and sub-assemblies. Equipment: Tugger EPJ more details to be confirmed. Heavy in power tool usage installing racks. PPE: Composite toe/steel toed boots cover ankle required. What you'll do on a typical day: Identify and perform repetitive assembly of various trailer component parts using blueprints or work instructions Safely utilize various measuring and inspection instruments Use various power and hand tools in a safe manner Work with a variety of materials including steel sheet metal aluminum solvents oils and abrasives Recommend measures to improve production methods equipment performance and quality standards Organize parts and equipment to maximize efficiency within department What you need to succeed at GXO: At a minimum you'll need: A high degree of technical skills and assembling techniques Demonstrated ability to read understand and follow job orders and work procedures Ability to perform work in a manufacturing environment It Production Technician Lift up to 50 LBS Experience with power tools Warehouse experienceBase Pay: 25.25 - 31.25 Other Pay: Job Number: Employee Type: Temp Manage Others: No Travel: Not Specified Paid Relocation: No
