Job description
Cutting OperatorAre you mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and ready to take your career to the next level in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? Join Green Bay Packaging as a Cutting Operator, where you'll play a key role in transforming raw materials into high-quality packaging solutions. In this hands-on role, you'll set up, operate, and maintain state-of-the-art die-cutting machines to cut, crease, and shape paperboard and other substrates. You'll ensure precision, troubleshoot issues, and maintain production efficiency—all while contributing to a team that values safety, quality, and continuous improvement.Key Responsibilities:Perform both off-press and on-press make-readies with accuracy and efficiencySet up and operate die-cutting presses according to job specificationsFollow detailed work instructions and standard operating proceduresInspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standardsMaintain equipment and report any mechanical issues promptlyCollaborate with team members & management to meet production goals and deadlinesSupport a clean, safe, and organized work environmentPerform other duties as assignedQualifications:Strong attention to detail and commitment to qualityMechanical aptitude and problem-solving skillsEffective communication and teamwork abilitiesBasic computer proficiencyAbility to lift up to 50 poundsExperience with automated die-cutting, stripping, and carton blanking systems is a plus—but not requiredWork Schedule:Must be willing to work either 2nd Shift (Monday – Friday 2pm – 10pm) after training. Training: Day shift (6am –2pm, Monday–Friday) for up to 120 days.
