The ideal candidate will be driven, innovative, compassionate, believe in the goodness of people and cannabis, and enjoys the one team, one dream motto! The Production Technician is responsible for trimming, curing, and packing cannabis flower. This position reports directly to the Cultivation Manager.Assist with bucking harvestsTrim flower for sale & process into final packagingProduction of pre-roll cannabis productsAssemble secondary packagingPerform secondary packaging of Cannabis productsPrint and apply labels to finish packaged productMaintain a clean and safe working environmentAble to work independently as well as operating as a teamPerform other functions as necessary to provide an adequate supply of product to meet patient demandKeep an inventory of packaging/labeling materials to ensure supply chain stabilityProvide feedback to improve process quality and efficiencyQualifications:Must have a high school diplomaExperience working cannabis preferredProficiency with MS OfficeExcellent communication skills, verbal and writtenAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt quicklyFlexible availability (weekends may be required)Must be able to sit and stand for long periods of timeMust be able to work in both indoor and outdoor environments in varying weather conditionsMust be able to lift up to 40lbsWhat we offer:Compensation: $18.20/hourCompetitive union benefits offeredSchedule: Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pmWhy Choose Vireo?
