Production TechnicianPay: $24 - $26 per hourShift: 2nd Shift (3:30pm - 12:00am)Location: Kenosha, WIThe Role: The Production Technician performs a wide variety of responsibilities requiring a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks at one time.SPI provides hygienic pipe, valves, fittings, pumps, and heat exchangers to industrial companies and industrial service providers. Our work environment is rooted in respect, teamwork, continual learning, growth and community.What You'll Do:Building crates and wooden boxesAssist with cleanup of manufacturing area, buildings, grounds, and vehicleLocal pick-up and delivery of vehicles, material, parts and equipmentCleaning of parts for manufacturingRemoval of metal chip barrelsAssembly and disassembly of parts and equipmentPacking products for shipmentLoading and unloading trucksOperating fork truck and scissor liftPicking warehouse materialEducation, Training & Experience:High school diploma required;Attention to detailGood time managementDemonstrates initiativeCarpentry experience is preferred.Benefits & Perks: SPI offers a competitive benefits package including:Health and wellness benefitsPaid time offRetirement planning optionsCompany lunches, team events, and community volunteer opportunitiesWork Environment / Physical Requirements: Standard workday for this role is 3:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. Monday through Friday. 30-minute lunch/dinner break.This is an on-site, hands-on role in a manufacturing environment.Frequent bending, kneeling, and stooping throughout the shiftLifting and moving materials up to 75 lbs (with assistance)Use of close, distance, and peripheral vision with strong attention to detailExposure to typical grinding and polishing conditions (noise, dust, etc.)Required use of PPE including gloves, safety glasses, and steel-toe bootsSPI is committed to providing reasonable accommodation for qualified individuals with disabilities during the application and employment process.Equal Opportunity Employer CSI is committed to equal opportunity employment.
