If you're motivated by science-driven selling, building long-term partnerships, and helping hospitals and diagnostic labs deliver better outcomes, you belong on our team.Biolog is seeking a Production Technician to support the pouring, inspection, and packaging of pre-reduced anaerobically sterilized (PRAS) culture media including tubes and plates. This role ensures products meet customer specifications while supporting daily production goals.The Production Technician is also responsible for maintaining cleanliness and performing routine maintenance of equipment within the production area. On-the-job training is provided for specific manufacturing processes.RequirementsPour, inspect, and package prepared culture media in a sterile, accurate, and timely mannerPrint and apply product labels for tubes and packaged materialsOperate production equipment including autoclaves, heat sealers, sensor/controllers, tube pouring machines, gas tank regulators, cap robots, automated pouring lines, boilers, packaging automation systems, and printersPerform routine inspection and maintenance of production equipmentUse sterile technique to prevent contamination and ensure product integrityClean and disinfect production chambers before and after useMaintain a clean, organized, and compliant production workspaceSupport additional duties such as shipping activities as assignedWhat You BringKnowledge of basic chemistry and math skills needed to measure and prepare mediaAbility to operate production equipment used for pouring and packaging culture mediaUnderstanding of sterile technique and contamination prevention practicesStrong attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step manufacturing procedures accuratelyAbility to organize work efficiently and meet production timelinesSound judgment and ability to troubleshoot minor issues, escalating complex problems to the Production ManagerStrong communication skills and professionalism when working with supervisors, coworkers, and managementFamiliarity with regulatory requirements and manufacturing standards such as ISO and GMP is a plusWhat We OfferCompetitive compensationComprehensive medical coverage with 100% employer-paid premiums for employees and 75% for dependents, plus dental and vision includedCompany-paid life, short-term, and long-term disability insuranceFlexible paid time off and paid sick leave13 paid holidays401(k), with a company matchStock optionsSchedule: 4/10 work scheduleAnnual Salary: $24.00-$26.00/hour
