Job description
Production TechnicianJob DescriptionPAY - $21.00-$23.00/HRLOC - Buda, TX, US2+ years of general production experience, preferably in food/beverage manufacturing or a GMP/FDA-regulated environment.Experience operating production, filling, mixing, blending, and packaging machinery.Load raw materials, measure/weigh ingredients, formulate powders, and sort materials according to production specifications.Package finished products into capsules, pouches, bottles, and boxes while operating and monitoring sealing equipment.Perform quality inspections for correct weight, fill level, seals, labels, and appearance, while removing defective products.Follow safety, GMP, sanitation, and quality standards, including equipment cleaning, routine checks, and accurate production documentation.Why Work Here?Climate-controlled facility maintained at approximately 65°F year-round, with controlled temperature and moisture conditions.10-hour shifts scheduled between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM, with front-half Sunday-Wednesday and back-half Wednesday-Saturday schedules.PPE is required and provided, including hair nets, coats, gloves, and booties. This is a non-smoking facility.Candidates must sign an NDA for supplement recipes and cannot have dairy or shellfish allergies. The workplace welcomes bilingual and Spanish-only speakers.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Buda, TX.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
