Job description
Production Technician$23-25/hrThe Production Technician assembles and wires filtration units, working both independently and as part of a team within pneumatic, electrical, and plumbing departments. This role involves building units comparable in size to small HVAC systems or generators, using power tools and cutting tools while following detailed schematics to ensure high-quality, reliable products.ResponsibilitiesIndividually assemble filtration units from start to finish, ensuring all components fit and function correctly.Wire electrical components and connections according to schematics and established standards.Participate in team-based assembly of filtration units that are similar in size to small HVAC units or generators.Work within the pneumatic department to assemble and connect pneumatic components and systems.Work within the electrical department to install, route, and secure electrical wiring and components.Work within the plumbing department to assemble and build out piping systems, including working with copper and related materials.Read and interpret schematics, drawings, and instructions to guide assembly and wiring tasks.Use power tools, cutting tools, saws, and drills safely and effectively during assembly and fabrication.Operate equipment such as bandsaws and other production machinery as needed for cutting and preparing materials.Inspect assembled units for quality, accuracy, and proper operation, and make adjustments or corrections as required.Follow production schedules and meet deadlines while maintaining quality standards.Maintain a clean, organized work area and handle tools and equipment with care.Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines while working in a production environment.Essential SkillsStrong assembly experience, preferably in a production or manufacturing environment.Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings.Experience assembling and wiring electrical components.Hands-on experience with power tools, including saws and drills.Ability to work with cutting tools and operate equipment such as bandsaws.Comfort working within pneumatic, electrical, and plumbing-related assembly tasks.Attention to detail and accuracy when assembling and wiring complex units.Ability to work both independently and as part of an assembly team.Commitment to following safety procedures in a production environment.Additional Skills & QualificationsPlumbing experience, especially working with copper piping and building out pipe systems.Experience working with production machinery and general machine operation.Electrical work or related technical fields.Previous experience assembling units similar to HVAC systems or generators.Why Work Here?You join a modern tech-oriented production environment with the opportunity to move into a direct position after approximately three months. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
