Eos was founded in 2008 and is headquartered in Edison, New Jersey.Now Hiring in Manufacturing!Work Location: 200 Braddock Ave, Turtle Creek PA 15145 OR 700 Braddock Ave, East Pittsburgh PA 15112Duties and ResponsibilitiesAssemble components of a battery or a full battery according to instructions, specifications, and quality standards.Participate on the different manufacturing process as designated on daily basis by the production supervisor.Ensure the accuracy of parts and components used in the assembly process.Report any assembly related problems to the supervisor.Maintain a clean and safe work area.Follow all safety regulations and procedures.All other duties as assigned.Minimum QualificationsAt least 1 year experience working in an industrial environment (manufacturing, production, construction, warehouse, etc.), or, completion of an Eos approved Partnership Training Program.High school diploma, G.E.D, or equivalent experience required.Working ConditionsThe worker may be subject to hazards. Includes a variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, vibration, moving vehicles, electrical current, exposure to temperature changes or exposure to chemicals. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to fumes, airborne particles, odors, dust, mists, and gases. The noise level in the work environment can be loud. Required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly or fabrication parts at distances close to the eyes. Machinery operation requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, work boots, and lab coats. May be required to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.Additional Requirements This job requires the ability to effectively communicate orally (and occasionally in writing) with co-workers and supervisors, and the ability to understand and quickly react to job-related oral and/or written directions, safety information, and communications (which are generally in English), as our manufacturing processes are constantly changing and evolving.If you are a current Eos employee you must apply internally.
