Job description
Production Utility OperatorWe are seeking a dependable Production Utility Operator to join a manufacturing team. This position is responsible for packaging finished products, operating forklifts, supporting production processes, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.Key Responsibilities:Package products according to specifications, including correct weight, labeling, and pallet configuration.Safely operate a forklift to transport, stack, and organize materials and finished goods.Read and follow work orders, production instructions, and quality requirements.Set up and monitor packaging equipment and materials.Inspect products and take samples as required.Complete production documentation and report equipment or product issues.Perform daily forklift inspections and maintain a clean, organized work area.Follow all safety policies and properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE).Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent preferred.Previous manufacturing, warehouse, or production experience preferred.Forklift experience is a plus; training may be provided.Basic math skills and attention to detail.Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.Physical Requirements:Ability to lift up to 55 lbs. regularly.Frequent standing, walking, bending, and material handling.Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with dust, noise, and varying temperatures.Must be able to wear required PPE, including safety glasses, hard hat, hearing protection, and steel-toed boots.Schedule: Full-time, Day Shift M-F 6am - 2pm
