The Wave operator work with and supports the inspector/solderer teams and wave assembly line team.The Role: In this position, the wave operator is operating the machine, setting it up and completing a basic inspection to ensure the board runs through the machine correctly. The operator is consistently on his/her feet in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities & QualificationsYou will spend your time:Perform machine set-up for wave machineOperate wave machinePerform electrical assembly and sub-assembly processes using hand tools and electronic toolsPerform other machine operations as neededRotate to various workstations as requiredReport defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisorMaintain clean and orderly workstations and equipmentFollow prescribed safety regulationsComplete tasks as designated by manufacturing schedules with minimum supervisionOther duties as assignedWe are excited about you if you have:Ability to read and follow manufacturing instructions and processesTeam-orientatedDependableGood eye/hand coordinationStrong attention to detailAbility to work overtime with notice when necessary on weekdays and weekendsAbility to read and speak EnglishAbility to pass a pre-employment drug testMust be at least 16-17 years old (for minors under 18 years of age proof of age required) Parental permission required if under 18 years of agePhysical Demands:Frequent lifting and moving of lightweight materials (0-10 lbs.) up to 50% of time workedMust be able to lift up to 10-30 pounds, chest height up to 5% of time worked.Frequent sitting, standing, bending, reaching and walking
