Production WelderPut your welding skills to work creating custom and stock irrigation components in a hands-on role where quality, precision, and safety matter. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply!For over 90 years, our client has manufactured steel fittings for commercial, agricultural, and industrial applications.Elwood Staffing associates are eligible for a comprehensive and competitive benefits package plus an exclusive savings program, including:Medical/Vision/Dental/Rx plansHoliday PayTeladoc (online care)Referral Bonus IncentiveWeekly Pay401kAnd More!Production Welder Details:Temp-to-Hire position$ 18.50 / hourFull Time work availableFirst Shift (Monday through Friday from 06:00am to 02:30pm)Welding experience required – recent graduates are encouraged to apply!Set up parts and perform welding and brazing on various metals and alloys.Read basic drawings, specifications, and welding symbols.Measure and prepare materials for welding.Use plasma cutters, grinders, and other equipment to prepare metal components.Inspect welds for quality and ensure work meets specifications.Production Welder Qualifications:MIG welding experience required.Ability to produce clean, quality welds.Ability to read and understand basic instructions, drawings, and welding symbols.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong communication skills.Safety-focused and able to follow PPE and workplace safety requirements.Ability to stand for extended periods and work in varying temperatures.Applicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
