This role follows standard work methods and adheres to safe work practices to ensure production is both efficient and safe.Essential FunctionsProduce, Assemble or package production parts in operation areas.Inspects components and finished products to ensure proper assembly within designated time frames.Meets production targets for all workflow processes.Accurately document work on production and quality forms.Participates in 5S and Kaizen initiatives, including cleaning, sorting, organizing, and process improvement activities.Proficient in using hand tools, fixtures, and equipment.Rotates through various job stations within operations based on business needs.Maintains a clean and safe work environment.Follows written production documentation accurately.Other duties as assigned.Key Performance IndicatorsApplies best safety practices utilizing all required PPE.Follows all Work Instructions, Visual Operating Sheets, and Quality checklists to ensure the product is made to standards.Ensures productivity rate meets set process cycle times (takt time).Ensures assigned tasks are completed on time.Education and ExperienceHigh School Diploma or GED equivalency preferred6 months previous production experience preferredPhysical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing for up to 8 hours, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling and climbing all day. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must frequently lift and move items up to 30 pounds.
