Manufacturing Job In Cranberry TownshipImmediate opening for manufacturing job in Cranberry Township at Kawneer Cranberry, an Arconic Company. $1000 retention bonus!2nd Shift: 1:45pm - 10:00pm Monday - Friday (Overtime expected)Production worker positions paying $23.68! ($20.68 + $1 shift diff + $2 Dept premium)Kawneer is a large commercial window manufacturing company who supplies windows and aluminum to companies nationwide. As a member of the Kawneer Cranberry team, you could be assigned different tasks out on our plant floor to help us produce products.As an employee, you will have access to our robust benefits package day one of employment including competitive medical benefits, prescription drug coverage, dental and vision coverage for you and any of your dependents. You have access to an onsite fitness center that includes a weight room, cardio equipment and outdoor walking trail.ResponsibilitiesVary by department, but a new employee can expect an array of tasks including but not limited to:Work in varying temperatures with a high amount of repetitive liftingBe around or operate mobile equipmentRead and follow all safety rules and regulations, standard operating procedures and quality standardsMaintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly conditionComplete required paperwork and data entry which can be hardcopy or electronicWear provided personal protective equipment (hard hat, earplugs, safety glasses, gloves, arm guard sleeves, metatarsal safety shoes, etc)Produce a quality product with attention to detailEnsure orders maintain internal schedule to keep pace to be on time to customerFollow directions from manager and functional lead to complete daily tasksContribute to continuous improvement activities as neededMeasure aluminum extrusionsCheck material against orders and visually inspect incoming materials.Function as saw helperIdentify scrapPerform all quality checks as requiredUse hand tools and other required equipment.Effectively communicate with team members, supervisors, and other departments as related to production.All other duties as assigned.QualificationsBasic:Must be able to understand and speak English proficiently.Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. This location has continuously built our products here since the early 1970s and we have a long legacy of products we've manufactured including the windows for the crown of the Statue of Liberty. Currently we supply commercial windows and aluminum sticks to companies nationwide. We are easily accessible being surrounded by many major highways as well as have many popular shopping, recreation, and dining options.
