Food Production WorkerDessert Holdings is the leading premium dessert company in the world. Food Production Worker 2nd Shift (5pm - 3am) & (8pm - 6am) Summary The Production Worker supports daily manufacturing operations by assisting with the preparation, movement, and handling of products in a food production environment. This role includes operating equipment, maintaining quality standards, and performing sanitation duties to ensure a clean, safe, and efficient workplace. Team members must be flexible, safety-focused, and willing to assist where needed. Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in the production, handling, and movement of products within the facilityOperate production equipment and machinery as assignedInspect products and materials to ensure quality and compliance with standardsLoad and unload racks, containers, and materialsMove products in and out of coolers, freezers, and storage areasMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all timesFollow all safety, food quality, and company policiesPerform additional duties as assignedImportant: This position includes cleaning and sanitation tasks as part of regular job responsibilities, such as sweeping, mopping, wiping down equipment, and removing trash. Candidates must be comfortable performing these duties.Physical Activity & Work Conditions:Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks, including pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying up to 50lbs.Ability to stand and walk for extended periodsAbility to work in cold environments such as coolers and freezersImportant: Ability to work safely around food allergens including chocolate, wheat, dairy, eggs, and tree nutsQualificationsNo previous experience required; training will be provided.Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality and safety.Reliable attendance and punctuality.Willingness to assist in different areas as needed.Willingness to work overtime as needed based on production demands.Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.Must successfully pass a background check and rapid drug screen.Dessert Holdings is a collection of premium dessert companies and brands: The Original Cakerie, Lawler's Desserts, Atlanta Cheesecake Company, Steven Charles, Dianne's Fine Desserts, Kenny's Great Pies, and Willamette Valley Pie Company.
