The work requires a strong attention to detail and craftsmanship, and the worker should aim to meet safety, quality, and on time delivery metrics at all times.ResponsibilitiesStrong attention to detailAbility to read and interpret customer drawings or printsAbility to use measuring equipment such as a caliper for dimension verificationSet up and operation of various production equipment and machines such as but not limited to:Photographic imaging, developing, and processing equipmentManual and automatic screen-printing presses, screen making, stencil preparation, and screen reclaimingDigital, thermal, and hot stamp printing equipmentShearing, punching, laser cutting, forming, and finishing machines for sheet metalDigital and steel-rule die cutting and finishing equipmentPackaging equipmentPull and prepare materials for productionMaintain inventory of materials in good order following established policies and guidelinesInspect printed and finished partsPerform handwork and assembly of products as requiredPerforms basic cleaning, lubrication, maintenance, and adjustment of machinery as requiredEscalate issues pertaining to safety, quality, or on time delivery to production coordinatorMaintains a clean work environment throughout each dayAble and willing to learn new processes to expand competency and increase organizational flexibilityQualificationsHigh School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)Previous experience with sheet metal fabrication a plusPrevious experience reading and interpreting mechanical drawings a plusStrong mechanical aptitude a plusEnergetic, team player possessing strong attention to detailMust be willing and able to follow directionsSafety conscious behaviorExcellent attendance recordAble to perform work tasks both independently and in a team-based environmentPhysical Requirements:Position requires the ability to sit or stand for extended periods of timeMust be able to regularly lift or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 50 poundsPosition requires good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination, color vision, and ability to adjust between close and distance visionHorizons Incorporated is an Equal Opportunity Employer M/F/Disability/Veteran.
