Production WorkerLocation: Detroit Lakes, MNCompensation: $18.50–$20.00 per hour – paid weeklyJob Type: Temp-to-Hire | Full-timeAbout the Opportunity:Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Production Worker associates for a manufacturing/packaging facility in Detroit Lakes, MN. In this role, you’ll help ensure products are packaged correctly, equipment runs smoothly, and the facility stays clean and organized. If you enjoy hands-on work in a fast-paced production environment with weekly pay and a clear path to permanent employment, this could be a great fit. Read below for more information!What You’ll Do as a Production Worker:Monitor packaging equipment to ensure proper operation throughout the shiftNotify the Plant Operator of trouble spots or potential issuesInspect packaging materials and record any sub-quality materialsPackage products according to company standardsPalletize finished product and operate the stretch-wrapping machinePerform housekeeping duties, including end-of-shift cleanupAssist maintenance personnel as neededStage shipments and help load trucksOperate forklifts once trained and certifiedWhat You Need to Bring to the Production Worker Role:Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. from waist to shoulder heightAbility to stand for up to 10-hour shiftsAbility to work around moving production equipmentAbility to work extra hours when requiredFrequent bending and stair/ladder climbing (up to 120 ft.)Comfort working in dusty conditionsAbility to read labels/signs and follow written or verbal instructionsBasic math skills and ability to record information accuratelyReliable transportation to the Detroit Lakes areaAbility to pass applicable pre-employment screeningsEntry-level applicants welcome #worknowWhy You’ll Like Working with Doherty Staffing Solutions:Enjoy weekly pay, access to health coverage options through Benefits in a Card (including preventative and minimum value plans), and temp-to-hire opportunities for long-term stability where applicable.
