Production Worker Final Assembly – 1st ShiftProduction Worker Final Assembly – 1st ShiftDelano, MN 55328$ /hrFullTimeJuly 28, Job DescriptionAbout the Opportunity: • Job Title: Production Worker Final Assembly • Pay Rate Range: $19.00-$21.00/hr • Location: Delano, MN • Schedule: 1st Shift Monday-Friday 6AM-2:30PM • Position Type: Temp to HireRequirements and Qualifications: • Attention to detail. • Basic math and conversion skills. • Ability to work as a team or independently. • Ability to work at a fast pace, on a constantly moving production line. • Ability to or willingness to operate a fork truck, training provided. • 50 lbs lifting and carrying requirement.Duties and Responsibilities: • Read area cleanup and equipment care postings to support 5S Lean practices. • Keep the area clean and organized. • Use practical problem-solving skills and work with colleagues to accomplish objective. • Attend each of your scheduled shifts and arrive to work on time. • Positions parts or materials for processing. • Care for machines, add coolant to reservoirs of machines, and lubricate machine parts. • Removes foreign material from items on conveyor belts. • Assists other production workers in production activities. • Report labor transactions and job information accurately. • Control material cost, labor, and overhead costs. • Work efficiently with colleagues to minimize energy use and material waste. • Create an environment of producing the best product, at the best price with quality expectations and on schedule. • Implement training received to assist with job efficiency and quality expectations.Discover Award Staffing: At Award Staffing, we believe that work should be more than just a paycheck—it should inspire, empower, and create a sense of purpose.
