Production WorkerOur client is seeking a Production Worker to join their team. As a Production Worker, you will be part of the supporting the production crew. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, the ability to follow safety procedures, and the willingness to stay flexible in a fast-paced environment which will align successfully in the organization.Job Title: Production WorkerLocation: Kingston, NYPay Range: $18.00/hrShift: 7am - 3:00pm (TUE, WED, THU; may include an extra day on Fridays or a 1/2 day on Saturday in summer months)What's the Job?Sort recycled items (cans, glass, and plastic bottles) from a conveyor and toss them into designated chutes/binsPerform general recycling facility helper duties when the sorting line is not running, including concrete, E-waste, trash/debris pickup, and directing trafficSupport production needs by helping where needed and staying flexible as priorities changeStand throughout the shift and complete repetitive reaching, bending, and squatting tasks as requiredAccurately punch in/out daily on UCRRA's time clock and enter hours into PeoplenetWhat's Needed?Ability to stand for the duration of the shift and perform repetitive reaching and bending tasksAbility to reach, bend, and squat safely; lifting is not heavy but movement is frequentReliable transportation to the site, as rides and bicycle commuting have not worked out reliably and bicycle commuting can be dangerous due to the location on a major highwayAbility to follow attendance and communication expectations; if late or absent, call/text Engel at and then call/text ManpowerSafety-focused mindset and willingness to wear required PPE (client provides work gloves, safety glasses, ear plugs, hard hat, and safety vest; you must have S/T work boots or shoes)What's in it for me?Long-term, open-ended schedule with consistent weekly coverage (TUE, WED, THU)Two paid 15-minute breaks per 8-hour shift (no deductions for breaks)Clear daily timekeeping process using UCRRA's time clock and PeoplenetOpportunity to contribute to recycling operations through hands-on production and support workFast-paced work environment where teamwork and flexibility matterUpon completion of waiting period associates are eligible for:Medical and Prescription Drug PlansDental PlanSupplemental Life InsuranceShort Term Disability Insurance401(k)
