Production WorkerLens Maker I (Production Worker) Lancaster, NYThe production worker role will contribute to specialty contact lens manufacturing on a made-to-order platform. This entry-level role offers comprehensive training and the chance to work with cutting-edge precision equipment in a collaborative production environment.Responsibilities:Operate computerized contact lens manufacturing and lathing equipment, manual polishing machines, and optical blocking equipmentPerform lens deblocking, product inspection, packaging, and shippingMaintain accurate lens identification and traceability throughout all process stepsRecord and report production data and observationsFollow standard operating procedures (SOPs), quality standards, and government regulationsMaintain clean, organized workstations and follow safety practicesCoordinate daily tasks with supervisors and team membersUse enterprise production systems to manage orders and workflowHandle incoming materials, replenish supplies, and assist with equipment maintenanceParticipate in periodic business-related projects and support continuous production improvementOccasionally work overtime as requiredQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent or GEDBasic computer skills and strong verbal/written communication skillsStrong math skills are a plusGood hand-eye coordination for handling small partsMedical device manufacturing experience a plus, but not required
