Job description
Production AssociateWe are seeking production associates with our client, a manufacturing company located in Fitchburg! These are great temp-to-hire openings, with the opportunity to get in with a company that is experiencing great growth.Overview: Performs various assembly and machine operation tasks that includes laminating, slitting, die-cutting and assembly work with various materials including foams, rubbers, metals, graphite, cork-fibers, and fiberglass. Follow standard work methods and practice safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible.Duties and ResponsibilitiesSets-up and operate any shop machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelinesReads and interprets blueprints, drawings, Job Orders, routers and diagrams to select dies, position, and secure machineryAdheres to operating procedures/instructionsAdjusts machine settings to complete tasks per specification to run job orders accurately and maximize productivityDetect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to supervisorsCommunicate process and quality improvements via CPAR systemMaintain a clean and safe work stationAccurately record labor and material usage in ERP systemOther responsibilities as assigned by managementJob Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Ability to read and perform basic math skills including countingAbility to use various tools including tape measure, dial caliper, and other hand toolsMust have a good command of the English language, both written and spokenBasic reading skills for understanding drawings, Job Orders, and specsAble to follow directionsStrong manual dexterityHours:1st shift: 6:00am-4:30pm Mon-Thur2nd shift: 3:30pm - 2am Mon-ThurOvertime required at times on FridaysPay:$18/hr.+ for 1st shift$19/hr.+ for 2nd shiftInterested candidates can apply several ways:Call and speak with a Recruiter for immediate considerationSubmit an applicationDownload our app through your app store and submit an applicationSend resumes to
