Production WorkerJoin the Smurfit WestRock team in Sioux Falls, SD as a Production Worker!Available Shift(s): 2nd & 3rdStarting Wage Range: $20.84 per hour, with scheduled increases after 60 days up to a maximum of $27.00 per hour.Additional Incentives:Shift Differentials ($0.75/hr. for 2nd Shift, $1.00/hr. for 3rd Shift)Health Insurance (Medical, Dental, Vision) available after 60 daysLife Insurance and Short-Term DisabilityPaid Lunches and Breaks401(k) with Company ContributionsPaid Holidays and PTO Within the First YearReimbursements for Boots & RX Safety GlassesEmployee Referral ProgramTuition ReimbursementPrimary duties include:Safely performing a wide range of tasks supporting the manufacturing of corrugated boxes, conducting quality checks, material set-up, machine set-up and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to working safely, a demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a strong desire to learn manufacturing processes and operate complex machinery. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Operating manufacturing equipment/powered equipment safely and follow specific directionsMaintaining a clean work environmentAbility to read a tape measure and have basic math and computer skills.Ability to work safely and comply with all safety regulations.Ability to push, pull, bend, squat, life, reach, kneel, and stand for up to 12 hrs. a day.Must be able to push, pull or lift to 50 lbs. on a frequent basis.Required to work daily overtime, weekend work and various shifts depending on workload.Must be willing to work any available shift.Manufacturing experience preferred but not required.Other duties as assignedSmurfit WestRock is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
