Job Overview
A law firm seeks a Products Liability and Mass Torts Associate in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in complex litigation and trial preparation, with a focus on products liability and mass torts cases.
Duties
Engage in complex litigation and trial preparation.
Draft and edit pleadings, briefs, and other legal documents.
Conduct witness interviews and manage discovery processes.
Prepare for and conduct depositions.
Participate in arbitrations and trials.
Requirements
4th to 6th year associate with relevant experience.
Strong academic credentials.
Experience in motion practice and depositions.
Experience with MDLs or multi-jurisdiction litigation is a plus.
Clerkship experience preferred.
Education
Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.
Certifications
Bar admission in good standing.
Skills
Excellent legal research and writing skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
