nDePuy Synthes is recruiting for a Professional, Finance Datahub.

nJohnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopedics business to establish a standalone orthopedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals. Should you accept this position, it is anticipated that, following conclusion of the transaction, you would be an employee of DePuy Synthes and your employment would be governed by DePuy Synthes employment processes, programs, policies, and benefit plans. nThe Professional, Finance Datahub is an experienced individual supporting the design, execution, and transformation of enterprise finance data platforms within the Finance Applications IT organization.

nThis role sits within IT Enterprise Applications and supports the SAP Finance Datahub platform by enabling efficient data management, analytics, and reporting capabilities across the FP&A, Tax, Treasury, and Controllership organization.

nThis position operates with a higher degree of independence, partnering closely with Finance, IT, and data stakeholders to support and deliver robust finance data platform solutions.

nKey Responsibilities

nnnPlan, design, implement and support core finance data platforms including but not limited to SAP BW4HANA, SAP S4 Finance, Central Finance, SAP Group Reporting, SAP SAC Planning, and SAP MDG Master Data Governance.

nnDesign, develop, and maintain finance data platforms, data pipelines, and data architectures to support enterprise reporting and analytics

n

nnEnsure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial data through validation, reconciliation, and data quality controls

n

nnSupport the design, development, and enhancement of data architectures and data warehouse solutions

n

nnBuild and deliver data pipelines, integrations, and backend data processing systems

n

nnCollaborate with cross-functional teams to improve data governance, standardization, and consistency across systems

n

nnIdentify process improvement opportunities and drive automation and efficiencies in data management and reporting workflows with AI.

n

nnEnsure compliance with internal controls, regulatory requirements, and data governance standards

n

n nQualifications

nEducation

nnnBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field required

n

nnMaster's degree (MBA, MS, or equivalent) preferred

n

n nExperience and Skills

nRequired

nnn4-6 years of hands-on experience planning, designing, delivering and supporting finance platforms including SAP BW4HANA, SAP Data Integration (ex. SLT and SDI).

n

nnStrong hands-on knowledge of SAP Basis and SAP platform architecture and management.

n

nnStrong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills

n

nnAbility to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

n

nnEffective communication skills with the ability to translate data insights into business recommendations

n

n nPreferred

nnnExperience planning, designing, and supporting SAP Cloud Data Warehouse/Data Sphere and SAP BDC and integration with downstream cloud data platforms (ex. DataBricks, Snowflake, AWS)

n

nnExperience developing SAP applications including SAP ABAP, SQL, and CDS Views.

n

nnExperience with SAP MDG and data connections with SAP cloud platforms.

n

nnExperience with data modeling, data warehousing, and modern data architectures

n

nnExperience delivering S/4 transformation initiatives

n

nnUnderstanding of financial processes, reporting, and data management principles Other

nnLanguage Requirements: English proficiency required

nnTravel: Up to 10% domestic travel may be required

nnCertifications: SAP, CPA, CFA, or data/analytics certifications preferred

nThe anticipated base pay range for this position is :

n79,000.00 - 142,000.00 USD Annual

nAdditional Description for Pay Transparency:

nSubject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company's consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).
