Job SummaryPrimary duties entail assisting with logistical, organizational, and other administrative tasks associated with successfully implementing the University of Michigan's Ottawa Internship Program.Responsibilities*The job duties may include, but are not limited to, assisting with the following:Managing/updating program recordsOutreach to program partnersCommunications with program participantsWeb site maintenanceOther tasks related to successful implementation of the programRequired Qualifications*The research assistant must have the following qualifications:Student at the University of MichiganSophomore standing or higherAbility to work independentlyEvidence of strong academic performanceStrong verbal and written communication skillsDesired Qualifications*The ideal candidate will also possess the following qualifications:Experience with Google SitesFamiliarity with the city of DetroitModes of WorkPositions that are eligible for hybrid or mobile/remote work mode are at the discretion of the hiring department. Work agreements are reviewed annually at a minimum and are subject to change at any time, and for any reason, throughout the course of employment. Learn more about the work modes.Work ScheduleApproximately 10 hours per week.Background ScreeningThe University of Michigan conducts background checks on all job candidates upon acceptance of a contingent offer and may use a third party administrator to conduct background checks.
