As a Program Cost Control Analyst – Level 3 located in Azusa, CA or Boulder, CO, you’ll be a linchpin in missions of paramount importance, defining the art of the possible from day one. This position is 100% onsite and cannot accommodate telecommute work. This position can sit out of any of the above listed locations.
nOur Program Cost Control Analyst will help prepare budgets and schedules for contract work and assist with financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlooks, cash forecasting and variance analysis. You will also work to ensure adequate funding availability by maintaining accurate records of expenditures, directing preparation for expenditure projections and submitting timely requests for additional funding to the government. This position will support intercompany programs and the site General Manager.
nThis position will work a 9/80 schedule, with every other Friday off.
nYour Role and Impact:
nnnResponsible for preparing month-end reports (full Earned Value data)
n
nnPerform Earned Value Metric (EVM) tasks including Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) development, budget baseline, cost risk analysis/ assessment and visibility reports, development and analysis of estimates to complete, and variance analysis research and reporting
n
nnPerform analysis and prepare reports to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines
n
nnDeveloping and reviewing EACs
n
nnBriefing the customer on monthly Earned Value deliverables
n
nnSupport audits and reviews requested by programs, customers, and company management, fact-finding and negotiation support
n
nnOther duties as assigned

nBasic Qualifications:
nnnBachelor’s degree with 5 years of business management or program control experience – OR - Master’s degree with 3 years of business management or program control experience
n
nnWill consider an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree.
n
nnNo clearance required to start
n
nnEarned Value Management (EVM) experience
n
nnExperience with accounting systems and EV systems
n
nnExperience with financial analysis or reporting
n
nnExperience with MS Office Suite
n
n nPreferred Qualifications:
nnnDegree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or Business Administration

nnDefense industry experience
n
nnProgram Cost Control experience
n
nnSAP and/or Cobra experience
n
nnExperience with FAR/DFAR
n
nnExperience with Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

nnExperience with Cognos
n
nnExperience with the 32 EVM Guidelines

nPrimary Level Salary Range: $85,600.00 - $141,200.00
nThe above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
nDepending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
