About the Role
Our client is seeking a strategic and visionary Program Director to lead impactful social initiatives from a remote setting. This senior role is responsible for the overall planning, implementation, and evaluation of key programs aimed at creating sustainable positive change within the Free State and beyond. You will manage budgets, lead cross-functional teams, and ensure the effective delivery of services that align with the organization's charitable objectives. This is a significant opportunity for an experienced leader to drive large-scale social impact remotely.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and oversee strategic program plans to achieve organizational goals.
Manage program budgets, ensuring fiscal responsibility and optimal resource allocation.
Lead and mentor program staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, partners, and government agencies.
Monitor program outcomes, evaluate impact, and report on progress to leadership and funders.
Requirements
Minimum of 7 years of experience in program management, preferably within the non-profit sector or social development.
Demonstrated success in leading complex programs and managing significant budgets.
Strong strategic thinking, leadership, and decision-making abilities.
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Master’s degree in Social Sciences, Public Administration, or a related field is highly desirable.
