Program ManagerAmazon is building internal manufacturing resources to scale rapid concept through deployment of strategic hardware initiatives. We are seeking a customer-obsessed Program Manager with demonstrated experience in shepherding the development, manufacturing, and deployment of industrial products across various stages of maturity. You will be the key point of contact between internal product teams developing innovations and our prototyping teams orchestrating on requests. You are a force multiplier, methodical, and detail oriented. To successfully deliver products, you will collaborate directly with customers, their stakeholders, engineering teams, and vendors. You have an eye for detail, continuously improving our standard processes to drive efficiency and enhance our customer experience. You thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments and drive an execution plan amid changing priorities.Basic Qualifications3+ years of program or project management experience3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experienceExperience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvementsExperience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams3+ years of program or project management experience, or a Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of program or project management experienceExperience in analysing data and creating reports for leadershipExperience presenting ideas to various levels of an organization to gain support for initiativesCan show strong verbal and written communication skillsExperience navigating a knowledge base and following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)Experience collecting, analyzing, and utilizing data to drive process and system improvementsExperience managing competing priorities and using metrics to drive business decisions3+ years in hardware product development, manufacturing, or industrial products, with 2+ years directly supporting enterprise customer needsExperience using AI to improve reporting and workflows.Track record delivering cross functional projects across multiple organizations, communicating tradeoffs and influencing without authorityWorking knowledge of manufacturing processes relevant to prototyping and productionProficiency in Microsoft Office suite, and collaboration tools such as Asana and SlackPreferred Qualifications3+ years of driving process improvements experienceExperience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organizationExperience building processes, project management, and schedulesKnowledge of SolidWorks or similar CAD experience and understanding of best practices for part design, and advanced assembliesBachelor's degree in engineering, business, or relevant technical fields3+ years experience in hardware development and manufacturing, including driving relationships with job shops and contract manufacturers3+ years direct experience in manufacturing environment for mechanical products with exposure to CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication, casting, molding, and assembly operationsPrior experience working with MES, PDM, PLM, CRM, and ERP toolsAmazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
