Immediate need for a talented Programmer Analyst. This is a 06+months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Richmond, VA (Onsite). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested. Job ID:
Pay Range: $50 - $53/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:
Develop robust applications using Java 17 , ensuring a strong foundation in OOP , generics , and concurrent programming .
Build automated test suites (unit, integration) using JUnit 5 and Mockito , integrating these tests into CI/CD pipelines .
Design, implement, and deploy microservices that expose well-documented REST APIs , leveraging Spring Boot .
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the software platform based on customer requirements.
Engage in problem-solving and innovative approaches to improve existing functionalities.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
Experience with Cucumber/BDD implementation and API automation.
Background in a regulated industry, particularly with large-scale projects.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering (preferred).
3+ years of hands-on experience in Java development .
Proven experience in test automation and building automated test suites.
Experience with microservices and REST APIs .
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Self-motivated and results-oriented mindset.
Analytical and system-level problem-solving skills.
