nJob Description
nnnSupport full-cycle cost management for construction projects, establishing and maintaining robust cost controls from project concept through completion.
n
nnFacilitate the use of the subcontractor change management system, ensuring timely responses from responsible parties and performing completeness reviews on all submissions.
n
nnProcess change orders in the system of record, ensuring all entries meet timeliness, accuracy, and completeness standards.
n
nnProvide audit and transactional finance support for project sites, focusing on the detailed financial elements of change orders, subcontractor compliance, and related documentation.
n
nnSupport the preparation and presentation of monthly cost reports and risk assessments to internal and external stakeholders, highlighting key variances, risks, and recommended mitigation actions.
n
nnContribute to monthly stakeholder meetings and formal presentations by providing clear financial content, data-driven insights, and informed commentary.
n
nnReview and interpret contractual terms to recommend entitlements related to change orders, claims, and other commercial matters.
n
nnCoordinate directly with client finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and full compliance with established financial controls.
n
nnAnalyze and report on local labor markets, union implications, commodity cost fluctuations, and tax impacts to inform project cost strategy and budget updates.

n nEssential Skills
nnnBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related field.
n
nnA minimum of 1+ year of project accounting or finance experience in the construction industry.
n
nn1–3+ years of experience in a project management, cost management, or accounting role within the commercial construction industry.
n
nnThorough understanding of construction accounting principles and practices.
n
nnHands-on experience with the entire change order lifecycle, from initiation through approval and closeout.
n
nnProficiency in construction management software such as Procore or Autodesk Construction Cloud.

nThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Covington, GA.
nPay and Benefits
nThe pay range for this position is $38.46 - $48.07/hr.
nIndividual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
