Construction: Subcontractor Project Accountant : Doral Area
Ascendo Resources (Award Winning Staffing, Recruiting & Consulting Firm) is assisting our client in their search for a Construction Project Accountant. Construction industry or subcontractor accounting experience is required . This subcontractor construction company has been in business for 40 years. Outstanding reputation. $70m in annual revenues with continuous growth.
Position Title: Construction Project Accountant
Location: Doral Area
Salary: $90K-$110K
Additional Info & Technical Skill Set Required:
Construction industry accounting experience
Monthly General Ledger, Multiple Entity Journal Entries, Bank Reconciliations, AP/AR
Month End Close, quarter end close, year-end close
Analyze Work-in-Progress (WIP) schedules, job cost reporting, and project profitability analysis.
AIA billing
% of completion
Job Costing
Labor Costs
Biling & Lien Waivers
QuickBooks / Advanced Excel
150 employees
6 employees in the Accounting department, including 2 purchasing staff
$60m to $80m annual revenues
Medical and Dental offered.
Job Requirements:
To qualify, candidates must have:
Minimum of 5 years Accounting experience
Bachelor's degree, with an emphasis in Accounting or Finance.
Advanced Excel
