nAs a Project Accountant, you will monitor the progress of projects, investigate variances, approve expenses, and ensure project billings are issued to customers and payments are collected.
nWhat You'll Do
nnnMaintain project-related records and effectively communicate with Project Managers regarding contract documents, change orders and other contract modifications, approvals, and any additional services-related to billing
n
nnReview and maintain time sheets, invoices, expenses, and project related assets
n
nnInvestigate project variances and submit variance reports to leadership
n
nnPrepare reports on project profitability
n
nnMonitor and report on project budgets
n
nnCreate all project-related billings to customers
n
nnResearch and pursue opportunities for maximization of customer billing
n
nnConfer with receivables staff regarding unpaid contract billings
n
nnRespond to requests for more detail from customers
n
nnCreate and submit government reports and tax returns related to projects
n
nnCompile information for internal and external auditors
n
nnPerform other tasks as requested by leadership
n
n nWhat You'll Have
nnnBachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
n
nn2+ years’ experience in project accounting
n
nn3+ years’ experience in billing and receivables
n
nnDetailed knowledge of project contracts and change order documents
n
