Project AssistantThe law firm of Marshall Dennehey seeks a full-time Project Assistant with 1+ years of experience for its Melville, NY office. Prior law firm experience preferred.We are seeking a detail oriented and reliable Project Assistant to support our team with a primary focus on record procurement and follow-up, along with general project support duties. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple tasks while working with internal teams and external contacts.Key Responsibilities:Request, track, and procure records from various sources, including third parties and external vendorsMaintain accurate records of requests, follow ups, and received documentsPerform consistent follow up to ensure timely receipt of recordsOrganize, review, and file records in accordance with established proceduresCommunicate professionally with internal staff and external contactsProvide administrative and project support as neededPerform other duties as assigned to support project goalsQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent requiredPrevious administrative, project support, or records management experience a plusStrong organizational skills and attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage deadlines and prioritize tasks effectivelyProficiency with Microsoft Office and basic database or tracking systemsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamWhat We Offer:Supportive team environmentOpportunity to gain hands on project experienceCompetitive compensation based on experienceCompensation range: $47,000 - $52,000The posted compensation range for this position is negotiable dependent upon experience level.
