Project AssistantAt Unified Door & Hardware Group (UDHG), the Project Assistant plays a vital role in supporting day-to-day project operations by ensuring effective coordination between internal teams, vendors, and customers. With strong organizational skills and attention to detail, the Project Assistant helps keep timelines on track and communication flowing—ensuring project accuracy, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. If you're proactive, dependable, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this is an excellent opportunity to contribute to successful project delivery.Responsibilities and QualificationsKey ResponsibilitiesCustomer & Project CoordinationFollows up with customers on submittals, change orders, samples, schedules, and other job-related issuesAssists with creation of change orders and internal change orders (ICOs)Procurement & Vendor ManagementAssists with creation of purchase orders and follows established release proceduresFollows up on vendor purchase orders to ensure timely delivery in line with project requirementsObtains and verifies vendor purchase order acknowledgmentsShipping & Material LogisticsAssists with creation of packing slipsCoordinates with the shipping/receiving departmentCommunicates and ensures timely delivery of materials to the jobsiteMiscellaneousSupport our values in the stand areas of Safety, Customer Focus, Teamwork, Integrity and being a Company of Choice for both employees and customersOther duties as assignedQualificationsHigh School DiplomaCompetency in computer software and administrative skillsOrganizational planning and time-management skillsAttention to detail and accuracyGood office etiquette and overall professionalismAbility to maintain patience and calmness under pressureCompensation and BenefitsReports To Team LeaderCompensation The listed pay range reflects the expected base rate for this position; actual compensation may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, and cost of living in the assigned market.
