Project CoordinatorMasTec Utility Services delivers critical infrastructure construction and engineering services for power delivery, gas, and water customers, specializing in overhead and underground electric distribution for power delivery systems, gas distribution construction for gas systems, and turnkey solutions for a variety of water, sewer, and civil infrastructure projects. Core responsibilities include:Working with operations personnel and Texas811 GeoCall to complete data entry for locate requests.Working with operations personnel to obtain permits for locate requests when required.Performing continuous creation, maintenance, and updates of excel documents to track locate requests, no responses, DigUps and updates and remarks.Assisting with submission of documentation to the Learning Center when required.Assisting with various new hire orientation onboarding duties when required.Assisting with various additional tasks as they arise within the Safety & Training Department when required.QualificationsMinimum qualifications include:High school diploma required.Ability to effectively communicate with multiple departments.Ability to work independently and as a part of a project team.Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced environment.Must possess strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Proficiency in Microsoft Office products such as Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint is required.Preferred qualifications include:Two or more years of industry experience, if applicable.Bilingual abilities, if applicable.Physical Demands and Work EnvironmentThis job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, and scanners. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. This position is primarily sedentary, with some filing or lifting required.
