What You'll Do

As a Project Cost Accountant with Findorff, you'll play a critical role in supporting the financial success of our construction projects. Manage Cost Reporting and Analysis: Review project cost activity, prepare and analyze financial reports, perform monthly job cost reviews, analyze cash flow, and provide insights that support informed business decisions.

Drive Billing and Contract Administration: Coordinate owner billings, review and post change orders, maintain billing documentation, and ensure project accounting activities align with contract requirements and company standards.

Maintain Financial Accuracy: Prepare journal entries, review project budgets, monitor cost allocations, track equipment and project-related expenses, and ensure financial records remain accurate, complete, and audit-ready.

Collaborate Across Project Teams: Work closely with Project Managers, Operations, and Accounting teams to support project execution, participate in project financial reviews, and provide trusted guidance on accounting processes and financial reporting.
