About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Director to lead the strategic development and execution of architectural projects from concept through completion.
This role will serve as a key connection point between clients, design teams, consultants, and internal leadership, ensuring that project vision, technical requirements, timelines, budgets, and quality standards remain aligned throughout the project lifecycle.
The ideal candidate combines strong architectural expertise with project leadership, client management, and the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the planning, development, and delivery of architectural projects across all phases, including Concept Design, Schematic Design, Design Development, and Construction Documentation.
Define project scope, key deliverables, milestones, and overall execution strategy.
Lead and coordinate internal design teams and external consultants.
Oversee the production and quality of technical documentation and project deliverables.
Ensure alignment between design intent, technical requirements, schedules, budgets, and client expectations.
Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and project stakeholders.
Identify project risks and implement solutions to maintain project quality, schedule, and profitability.
Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and ensure effective communication throughout the project.
Support project presentations, client meetings, and key design decisions.
Monitor project performance and contribute to continuous process improvement.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field.
10+ years of professional architectural experience.
Experience leading complex architectural projects from concept through documentation and/or construction.
Previous experience leading architectural teams and coordinating external consultants.
Strong understanding of architectural design, documentation, construction processes, and project coordination.
Experience with BIM-based project workflows.
Strong client-facing and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously.
Experience in construction is highly desirable.
Technical Skills
Advanced proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks .
Experience with BIM coordination and platforms such as BIM 360.
Knowledge of SketchUp, Rhino, Lumion, Enscape, or similar visualization tools is a plus.
Familiarity with local and international building codes and architectural standards.
Language Requirements
English: Professional proficiency required.
Spanish: Bilingual English/Spanish candidates strongly preferred.
