What You'll Do
As a Project Engineer, you'll support projects from award through closeout while working closely with project management and field operations teams.
Key responsibilities include:
Support Project Managers with day-to-day project administration and coordination
Assist in planning, scheduling, and tracking project progress
Review plans, specifications, contracts, and project documents
Coordinate with owners, consultants, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams
Participate in project meetings and help drive action items to completion
Track submittals, RFIs, permits, and project documentation
Assist with project cost tracking and production monitoring
Support field operations and help ensure project quality, safety, and compliance standards
Build strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders
Contribute to successful project delivery
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Engineering, or a related field
Internship or experience in heavy civil construction preferred
Understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and project documentation
Strong organization and time-management skills
Ability to communicate effectively with field and office personnel
Desire to learn and grow within the construction industry
Positive attitude and willingness to take ownership of responsibilities
Experience with construction management software is a plus
