Builtech is currently seeking a Project Engineer ready to join our fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities:
Distribute new or updated drawings and specifications.
Research drawing interpretations, problems, conflicts, interferences, and errors.
Research, transmit and monitor RFI's.
Prepare and monitor a submittal log in accordance with the project schedule and specifications.
Attend and document project meetings.
Manage the close-out process.
Assist with change order documentation and compilation.
Support onsite safety programs to maintain a safe jobsite per the requirements of OSHA and the Builtech Safety Plan.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree is preferred but not required (preferably in Construction Management or Engineering)

Knowledge and proficiency in the following computer software systems: MS Office, MS Project and preferably, Procore
Leadership skills including self-awareness, time management, positivity, assertiveness, delegation, negotiation, and organization
Willingness to travel to job sites (locally or nationally) as needed
Ability to remain in a stationary position 95% of the time
The ability to constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as computer keyboards, copy machines, and computer printers
The ability to occasionally lift and carry lightweight office items like supplies or equipment
Valid driver's license

Position Requirements

Proficient use of Microsoft Office programs and knowledge of construction software
