Extension is seeking a Project Engineer for a direct-hire opportunity with one of our clients located in Ripon, WI
Overview
A leading manufacturer is seeking a Project Engineer to support large-scale manufacturing operations. This role will lead capital projects involving new equipment, processes, and production systems, with a focus on improving quality, efficiency, and cost. Candidates from any manufacturing background are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
Lead capital projects from planning and budgeting through installation, commissioning, and startup
Define project scope, timelines, budgets, and equipment requirements
Evaluate vendors and coordinate contractors, production, maintenance, and other departments
Identify and implement improvements in safety, quality, throughput, and cost
Troubleshoot production and equipment issues and support continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
Experience in project engineering, project management, or manufacturing engineering
Engineering degree or equivalent hands-on manufacturing and capital project experience
Basic knowledge of 3D CAD/modeling software
Understanding of manufacturing equipment, processes, and engineering principles
Experience with Lean manufacturing, root cause analysis, or process improvement is a plus
Salary & Schedule
$85,000–$130,000, depending on experience and qualifications; potential sign-on bonuses for senior-level hires
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, primarily first shift. Occasional second-shift or weekend support may be required
