Role Description The Project Estimator is a full-time, on-site role based in Englewood, CO. This position is responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates for demolition projects, including labor, equipment, and materials. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing drawings and specifications, conducting site visits, analyzing project requirements, and developing accurate bids and proposals. The Project Estimator collaborates with project managers and field teams to clarify scope, adjust estimates based on project changes, and support budgeting and scheduling decisions. The role also involves maintaining estimating records, updating cost databases, and communicating with vendors and subcontractors to obtain pricing and ensure competitive, compliant bids.
Qualifications
Strong Construction Estimating and Project Estimation skills for demolition and related scopes of work.
Cost Management and Budgeting skills to develop accurate, competitive, and financially sound proposals.
Effective Communication skills to collaborate with internal teams, clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and proficiency with estimating software and basic office tools (e.g., Excel, PDF markup).
Familiarity with construction drawings, specifications, and demolition methods; prior experience in construction or demolition is preferred.
Ability to work on-site in Englewood, CO, manage multiple bids and deadlines, and maintain organized documentation.
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training or a degree in construction management or a related field is a plus.
