Project Manager, Consulting
Chicago, IL (Onsite, 5 days a week)
Hunden Partners is hiring a Project Manager to join our growing consulting team. This position plays a central role in leading client engagements, managing complex public-private development projects, and delivering high-impact, data-driven outcomes.
As a Project Manager, you’ll guide the full project lifecycle—from research and analysis through to storytelling and client presentations. You’ll collaborate with public agencies, developers, and internal stakeholders, managing the day-to-day execution of some of the most exciting tourism, hospitality, mixed-use, and destination projects across the country.

Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary: $120,000 - $140,000 Dependent on experience
Quarterly Bonus: Based on personal and Firm performance

What You’ll Do
Lead multiple projects from start to finish, managing timelines, teams, and deliverables
Oversee all aspects of research, interviews, data analysis, and report development
Present findings and lead client conversations with professionalism and clarity
Develop reports, financial models, maps, and presentations that tell a compelling story
Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for client engagements
Coach and mentor Analysts, Senior Analysts, and Analytics Managers
Contribute to business development efforts, including proposal writing and industry events
Ensure deliverables meet the highest standard of quality and withstand external scrutiny
Represent Hunden at conferences and industry events
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Real Estate, Urban Planning, or related field
5+ years of experience in consulting, project management, or real estate development
Strong experience with market and real estate analysis, feasibility studies, and financial modeling
Advanced Excel proficiency and command of Microsoft Office Suite
Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple workstreams
Strong communication, storytelling, and client-facing skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment
