Firstline Contracting Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team. We are a roofing contractor based in New Hyde Park, New York , specializing in commercial and government projects.

Qualifications & RequirementsMinimum 5 years of Project Management experience , preferably within the commercial roofing or construction industry
Strong experience managing commercial and government/public-sector projects
Experience with IDIQ (Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity) contracts is highly preferred
Experience with JOC (Job Order Contracting) contracts is highly preferred
Knowledge and experience with Sourcewell contracts/cooperative purchasing contracts is highly preferred
Familiarity with task orders, work orders, government procurement requirements, and contract documentation is a strong plus
Ability to coordinate projects from award through completion, including scheduling, subcontractors, materials, documentation, meetings, and project closeout
Comfortable communicating with government agencies, owners, general contractors, subcontractors, and field personnel
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel regularly
Must be willing to drive out of state to Maryland and Delaware fairly often for project meetings and site-related responsibilities
Please note that our current projects are located outside New York State , so regular travel is an important part of this position
