Title: Building Management System (BMS) Senior Project Manager
Location: Lehigh Valley, PA
Schedule: Fully on-site
Employment Type: 6-month contract to start (re-occurring, opportunity to convert)
Position Summary
Brooksource Engineering Services is seeking a Building Management System (BMS) Project Manager to support the startup and delivery of a new Parenteral Device Manufacturing facility in Lehigh Valley, PA. This consultant will drive schedule adherence, documentation management, stakeholder alignment, testing readiness, project governance, and coordination between engineering, controls vendors, construction teams, and C&Q partners.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain integrated BMS project schedules.
Drive project meetings, action items, risks, and milestone management.
Establish document control, approval workflows, and governance processes.
Coordinate design reviews, RFIs, technical decisions, and scope changes.
Serve as the bridge between engineering teams, external C&Q teams, and controls vendors.
Coordinate FAT, SAT, commissioning, qualification, and turnover activities.
Track deficiencies, punch lists, and corrective actions through closure.
Provide executive status reporting and escalation management.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
8+ years of project management experience supporting capital projects, automation systems, or building systems.
Experience working within GMP-regulated environments.
Strong project controls, stakeholder management, and documentation experience.
Preferred Qualifications
PMP Certification.
Experience with Johnson Controls, Rockwell Automation, or similar controls platforms.
Pharmaceutical manufacturing startup experience.
