Job description
Piper Companies is currently looking for a Project Manager III in the Fort Rucker, AL area to work a fully onsite role. This Project Manager III will work with a diversified services organization focused on delivering program support, technical expertise, and operational solutions for complex projects and initiatives.
Responsibilities for the Project Manager III:
Coordinate and support a variety of research-focused projects, helping manage timelines, deliverables, and overall project execution.
Provide administrative, operational, and program support, including documentation, reporting, meeting coordination, and stakeholder communication.
Track project progress, budgets, resources, and key milestones while assisting with planning and process improvement efforts.
Manage and maintain project data, records, and related materials, ensuring accuracy, organization, and compliance with established procedures.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, external partners, and leadership to support research initiatives, operational goals, and program objectives.
Qualifications for the Project Manager III:
5 years' experience of project or program management
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance AND state-issued driver's license
Experience managing all aspects of project/programs
Able to work variable work hours to meet performance requirements
Familiar with the standard concepts, practices, and procedures within Injury Biomechanics, medical research, and data management
Bachelor's degree required
Compensation for the Project Manager III:
Salary: $98-108k based on professional experience
