Kleinfelder is seeking a Project Manager to join our Land Development team in Austin!

Step into Your New Role

The successful candidate should be a self-starter who can provide project management and technical support to Land Development projects and proposals. The candidate will be responsible for proposing, planning, executing and managing projects of varying complexity with multidisciplinary teams. The position requires strong collaboration skills, project management, and client engagement in support of our Clients in Texas, as well as experience with proposal preparation (scoping and pricing).

Lead the design team and project management of residential, commercial, industrial, and municipal land development projects, applying sound engineering principles to deliver solutions.

Oversee a design team, delegating tasks, and ensuring timely and efficient project delivery.

Manage multiple projects, staying within budget, on time, and meeting client requirements.

Collaborate closely with clients to understand their needs, ensure high satisfaction throughout the project, and identify other opportunities.

Resolves issues to keep projects on track.

Manage relationships with key clients.

Develop new business relationships with new clients

Position Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.

Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas.

8+ years of experience in land development or related engineering fields.

Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and foster and develop key client relationships

Ability to effectively communicate positively at all levels of the organization

Ability to manage & mentor staff, and direct resources effectively in a positive manner

Demonstrated ability to manage land development projects profitably

Knowledge of AutoCAD Civil3D

Microsoft Office

Candidate will be required to complete Kleinfelder’s project management qualifications within one (1) year of hire.

Following an offer, candidates will be required to satisfactorily complete employment reference checks, verification of professional licensure and/or educational credentials, a motor vehicle report (MVR), and a comprehensive background check.
