Job Summary
The Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing cross-functional projects that support organizational priorities across Rock City Enterprises. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with company standards, while maintaining strong communication with internal teams, vendors, and key stakeholders.
The Project Manager serves as a central point of coordination—facilitating collaboration, tracking progress, mitigating risks, and ensuring a seamless execution experience that ultimately supports operational excellence and an exceptional guest experience.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution
Lead the planning, execution, and completion of multiple concurrent projects across departments
Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations
Identify risks, track dependencies, and proactively resolve issues to maintain progress
Cross-Functional Coordination
Collaborate across departments (Operations, Marketing, Sales, Facilities, Guest Services, etc.) to align priorities and timelines
Facilitate project meetings, status updates, and workflow coordination across teams
Ensure clarity of roles, responsibilities, and expectations throughout the project lifecycle
Support consistent execution standards across all teams involved in project delivery
Vendor & Contractor Management
Coordinate with external vendors, contractors, and partners to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables
Track vendor performance, timelines, and adherence to contract expectations
Serve as the primary point of contact for project-related vendor communication
Project Tracking & Reporting
Maintain and manage the organization’s project management system/database
Monitor project progress, milestones, budgets (if applicable), and resource utilization
Provide regular, structured updates to stakeholders, including leadership-level summaries
Develop reporting tools and dashboards to visualize project status and outcomes
Communication & Stakeholder Engagement
Ensure transparent, consistent communication across all stakeholders
Translate complex project details into clear, actionable updates for leadership
Escalate risks or delays appropriately with recommended solutions
Support change management efforts by coordinating communication plans related to project rollouts
Process Improvement
Identify opportunities to improve project management processes, tools, and workflows
Drive consistency in project execution standards across the organization
Support the implementation of best practices in project planning, tracking, and reporting
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Operations, or related field (or equivalent experience)
3–5+ years of project management or related experience, preferably in a multi-department environment
Demonstrated experience managing multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities
Experience working with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Monday.com, Smartsheet, or similar systems)
Strong organizational and time management skills with high attention to detail
Knowledge & Skills
Strong understanding of project management principles and tools
Highly organized with ability to manage multiple priorities and timelines
Effective communicator across all levels of the organization
Skilled in cross-functional coordination and stakeholder management
Ability to track project progress, identify risks, and drive solutions
Experience managing vendors and external partners
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to influence and drive accountability without direct authority
Licenses & Certifications
Valid driver’s license required.
Availability & Work Requirements
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and special events as needed.
Ability to travel occasionally.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
Regular use of hands and fingers.
Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Ability to stoop, kneel, or crouch occasionally.
Ability to walk trails and guest areas regularly.
