Job description
The Company
A boutique owner's rep firm responsible for protecting their clients' interests from early planning through to final handover, guiding and overseeing the full project team, including designers, engineers, contractors, and specialist consultants, so that projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the right standard.
Their portfolio is made up mainly of private-sector work across a range of sectors, including luxury residential and condominium developments, senior living facilities, commercial and residential building improvements, and non-for-profit projects.
The Opportunity
This is a chance to join a small, high-caliber team and take real ownership of a varied workload.
You'll run several smaller projects at the same time, such as renovations, building upgrades, and capital improvements.
You'll also play a key role on larger ground-up and major renovation projects. Working closely with the principal as the owner's representative, you'll have direct client exposure and plenty of variety.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a portfolio of smaller concurrent projects end to end, balancing priorities, budgets, and deadlines across sites and clients.
Support and lead workstreams on larger, complex projects, coordinating closely with the principal and wider project teams.
About You
Circa 6-10 years' experience in construction, architecture or engineering
A proven track record of juggling (as the lead PM) multiple jobs, such as interior renovations, building upgrades, or capital improvements
Additional experience working on larger-scale $50M projects - even in an APM capacity - would be favored
A level-headed, collaborative and honest approach, and capable of dealing with tough clients and/or projects with the calmness and diligence required
Growth & Rewards
This role offers real upside for someone with entrepreneurial drive. Team members who bring in new clients or projects will be rewarded through a business development incentive on the work they win. This reflects the firm's belief that people who help it grow should share in that success.
As the firm expands, there will also be paths into management and leadership, potentially heading up a specific sector or team.
