Responsibilities
Coordinate the planning, design, cost engineering, and construction for projects of substantial scope and complexity, which may involve multiple locations, diverse management demands, and numerous regulatory requirements.
Controls and manages project milestones and budgets throughout the project lifecycle, from planning through construction and turnover.
Recommend allocation of project funds to district elements consistent with progress attained and measures and monitors performance to assure commitments of all parties are being maintained.
Assure that stakeholders/customers or other agencies participation in the project is in accordance with the agreed upon management plan and stakeholder/customer commitments.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes coordinating project activities with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met; tracking project budgets and schedules to report on project progress and performance; and assisting in the development of project management plans that define scope, criteria, and performance metrics. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS- 11 or above). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted. Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
